Start At Three Hours?
Because the stretch is an event vehicle with event economics: the operator commits a scarce, specialized conversion and a chauffeur to your window, and the minimum protects the night's revenue. Survey data calls three-to-four-hour minimums the industry standard, with weekends higher. For a 45-minute airport run, that pricing model is simply the wrong tool.

Inside A Limo Price?
Some of what you pay for is regulation you never see. Under FMCSA rules, a vehicle carrying nine or more passengers for hire is a commercial motor vehicle, and interstate passenger carriers must file financial responsibility of $1.5 million for vehicles of fifteen or fewer passengers. Congress also passed the SAFE Limos Act directing seat-belt and seating-system standards for stretch conversions, rulemaking that is still being written, a reminder that the long car is a modified vehicle wearing rules made for the original.

The nine-passenger line
